Location: Singapore
Department: NGL Operations
Reports To: Fleet Manager
Position Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Vessel Manager to take full accountability for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of vessels within our NGL fleet. You will be responsible for the performance, reliability, and people onboard your assigned vessels, ensuring operational excellence is achieved across all key performance indicators, business unit targets, and company standards.
To help you deliver success, you’ll be supported by our expert teams in Marine & Technical Services, HSEQ, Marine Assurance, Marine HR, and Finance.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will provide day-to-day technical and operational support to your vessels, ensuring full compliance with safety, regulatory, and company requirements. This includes managing vessel budgets and operating costs, monitoring technical performance, and overseeing dry dockings, scheduled maintenance, and major repairs. You’ll ensure all maintenance, class, and statutory obligations are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
You will maintain close contact with onboard teams through regular vessel visits, ensuring vessel condition, performance, and crew engagement meet expectations. You’ll also drive vetting readiness, support continuous improvement initiatives, and lead vessel performance reviews.
What We’re Looking For
You must hold a Class I Certificate of Competency as Master or Chief Engineer (Unlimited), or bring equivalent education and experience in vessel or technical management. Experience with Gas Carriers, particularly LPG, Ethane, or multigas vessels, is essential, along with a strong understanding of dual-fuel propulsion systems, cargo containment systems, reliquefaction plants, and cargo handling equipment.
You will have proven experience managing vessel budgets, maintenance planning, and technical operations. A solid understanding of safety and compliance frameworks, good commercial awareness, and excellent leadership and communication skills are all key to success in this role. Prior experience in NGL operations is highly preferred.
Why Join Us
This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role where you’ll be empowered to lead all aspects of vessel management. You’ll work in a collaborative and performance-driven environment with access to in-house expertise and a strong support structure. If you’re looking for a technically challenging position with opportunities to lead, innovate, and make an impact, we encourage you to apply.
