Position Summary
  • The Warehouse Controller works under the supervision of logistics Supervisor. 

  • The Warehouse Controller is responsible for all warehouse operations activities including shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, maintaining the NSE System, archived records management, and inventory stock management.  

  • Coordinates the daily operations of the warehouse with the maintenance & Operations Supervisors. 

  • Coordinates with Integrated Planning Team the replenishment of critical spares.  

  • Performs a variety of shipping/receiving, stocking activities and follow up outstanding RFQs. 

  • Maintains inventory and stock records, and conducting annual stock count.    

  • The Warehouse Controller role is a rotating shift-based position working 5 days with a requirement to work offshore when circumstances dictate. Additional hours might be required in terms of job conditions. 

    Major Responsibilities 

    Ensure that all tasks are carried out safely at all times. 

  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouses. 

  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of Stores Inventory into NSE system. 

  • Responsible for stock replenishment (from purchase requisition stage to issuing Purchase Order / deliveries).  

  • Receives and inspects all incoming materials, reconciles with purchase orders process, and file documentation with purchase orders documents / tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received. To coordinate with relevant supervisors to inspect the parts before posting process, if necessary.  

  • Review project documentation (data sheets, drawings, etc) whenever required to verify spares.  

  • Receives, stores, tags and tracks surplus property. 

  • Maintains the warehouse storage area in a neat and orderly manner. 

  • Follow warehouse procedures and resolve discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs and surplus property with suppliers. 

  • Serves as a lead worker to other classified staff in the area. 

  • Assures all warehouse equipment are maintained and inspected for safe warehouse operations. 
     

  • Accountable for Annual Stock Count Activities. 

  • Spare parts codification in the NSE system.  

  • Assists in the procurement process as required.  

  • Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team as directed. 
     

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering 

  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse safety protocols. 

  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software. 

  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and data analysis tools. 

  • Basic knowledge of supply chain logistics and transportation management. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges. 

  • Holds a full clean Kingdom of Bahrain Driving License. 

  • Good English reading, written and verbal communication skills.
